Liza Pulman Sings Streisand

at Jersey Opera House

Liza Pulman Sings Streisand

Fascinating Aïda's Liza Pulman returns to Jersey Opera House with Streisand classics, a six-piece band and witty stories behind the songs.

The songs of Barbra Streisand, sung by one of the funniest and finest voices in British theatre.

Liza Pulman, singer, comedienne and one third of Fascinating Aïda, celebrates the Streisand songbook, which she does justice to while still raising laughs between the numbers: Don't Rain on My Parade, The Way We Were, Evergreen, People, You Don't Bring Me Flowers and more.

Having previously delighted Jersey Opera House audiences with Hooray for Hollywood, Liza returns with another celebration of timeless music.

This is not an impersonation: there is no wig and no act. Instead there are new arrangements, a six-piece band led by Joseph Atkins, and the stories behind the songs, told with warmth and wit.

The show has played to sold-out houses and standing ovations across the country and received five-star reviews in the West End. It is funny, moving and full of songs many will already know by heart.

★★★★ "Pulman may look bright and beautiful and demure, but she knows how to wield a flick-knife." The Times

★★★★★ "Bewitches us with sheer vocal virtuosity and emotional expression." BritishTheatre.com

"The love child of Neil Diamond and Barbra Streisand." Suzy Klein, BBC Radio 3 In Tune
