The Nutcracker

at Jersey Opera House

The Nutcracker

Ballet d’Jèrri's original Nutcracker premieres at Jersey Opera House, 27–29 November 2026, with professional dancers, local performers and Pay What You Can tickets.

Ballet d’Jèrri presents Lé Craque-nouaix (The Nutcracker), choreographed by Katya Bourvis.

The production is inspired by the dark imagination of ETA Hoffmann's 1816 story, The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, and pays loving homage to the countless re-imaginings of Marius Petipa's iconic 1892 ballet.

This Christmas, Ballet d’Jèrri brings an original Nutcracker for Jersey, Lé Craque-nouaix. The company's new interpretation combines Tchaikovsky’s score, professional dancers and more than 40 local performers. Elegant, atmospheric, whimsical and nostalgic, Lé Craque-nouaix invites audiences to suspend their disbelief, step back into the wonder of childhood, and indulge themselves, for one rare moment of the year, in refusing to completely leave it behind.

It runs at Jersey Opera House from 27 to 29 November 2026, with Pay What You Can tickets. Jersey's National Ballet presents the world premiere of this production thanks to the lead sponsorship of Ogier.
