Le French Festival 2027

A tenth-anniversary celebration of French and Norman culture, with a medieval fair at People's Park and Bastille Day festivities in Royal Square.

Le French Festival is a biennial cultural and festive event offering an eclectic programme: music, theatre, opera, cinema, street arts, a Norman market, exhibitions, artistic workshops, conferences and more.

Since 2017, its aim has been to promote French and Norman cultural richness and to strengthen the ties between France and the Channel Islands by offering a wide range of high-quality events.

2027 will be a landmark year for Le French Festival, as it will celebrate its 10th anniversary. It will also celebrate the island's historical and cultural ties with Normandy by taking part in MILLENIUM: 2027, European Year of the Normans.

Le French Festival 2027, Millenium Edition will unfold in two parts:

10–11 July: a Medieval Fair at People's Park with a parade, music, a medieval combat display and more still to be announced.

14–18 July: a Norman-style French Festival in Royal Square with Bastille Day celebrations, a Norman Market and film screenings.
