South Coast Seafari

A one-hour boat trip from St Helier along the south coast to Corbière Lighthouse, with military history, hidden coves and frequent dolphin sightings.

The South Coast Seafari offers a view of Jersey's south coast from the water. Trips set off from St Helier and follow a coastline shaped by tides, time and legend, heading out across the water past sheltered bays, cliffs and stretches of untouched shoreline best appreciated from the sea.

The route leads towards Corbière Lighthouse, which stands at the island's south-western tip. Along the way, the crew share stories of Jersey's military history, from ancient fortifications and wartime defences to secluded beaches once used by smugglers and soldiers. The trip passes castles on rocky outcrops, weather-beaten towers and hidden coves.

The island's resident pod of dolphins often joins the trips, swimming alongside the boat.

Because Jersey's tides are among the most dramatic in the world, trip times vary throughout the year. The latest schedule, availability and departure details are on the operator's website.

Trips start at Albert Pier in St Helier, at the top of the ramp beside the Lifeboat Station. Guests should arrive 15 minutes before departure so the team can get them kitted up.

1-hour trip: £39.99 for adults, £34.99 for children (under 16).
